(Example: High Bid $100 + 18% Buyer Premium = $118 Sale Price, plus tax added to the $118 = $129.21 Total Sale Price).

Final Payment: Within 48 Hours of close of auction by credit card or bank wire only. Credit card payments are completed online only. No in-person payments accepted. Payment invoices for auction purchases will be sent within 3 hours following close of auction.

Sales Tax: 9.75% sales tax on all lots (Paid directly to DMV for autos). CA resellers only w/ valid applicable resale number on file and coin/bullion invoices over $2,000 exempt from CA sales tax. The state of CA does not honor out of state resale licenses, so all out of state buyers are required to pay CA state sales tax.

Removal: In-person by appointment only, four business days from sale date. The removal appointment link will be emailed to you after payment is made. In-person removal location is 16610 East Chestnut Street, City of Industry, CA 91748. Some items may be “Local Pick-up Only”. See lot descriptions for this designation. Shipping: Shipping is available on smaller items at buyer's expense. CWS ships smaller items. Shipping fee is $15 per box for items requiring minimal packaging, plus the cost of shipping and insurance. For purchases of lots with multiple items or that require significant packaging, an hourly rate handling fee will apply. Buyer is required to determine if the items they intend to purchase will require the additional handling fee. Large/heavy items shipping is arranged by Buyer. Some large/heavy items may be "Local Pick-up Only".

AS-IS: All items are offered for sale by the Los Angeles County Public Administrator and are sold and accepted by buyer as-is, with all faults and without warranty or guarantee. All sales are final. It is the buyer's responsibility to assess condition, usability, and/or salability prior to bidding. Attendance at the live in-person preview is strongly recommended. For questions regarding condition please email registration@cwsams.com The Buyer understands and agrees; (1) that any description or sample of the property/merchandise given or furnished by CWS is solely for identification, and DOES NOT CREATE ANY WARRANTY, expressed or implied, that the property/merchandise actually conforms to such description or sample; (2) all weights, measurements, and descriptions must be considered approximations and do not create any warranty; and (3) that the property/merchandise is purchased and accepted by buyer "AS IS," and "WITH ALL FAULTS." CWS and the Seller: do not warrant the condition, quality, or merchantability of the property or its fitness for any use or purpose. The condition of items offered varies from "NEW" to "SALVAGE", which final determination is to be made by the Purchaser prior to purchase. Determination Regarding Inquiries: CWS will make the final determination regarding all inquiries/disputes. The amount of any recovery is limited to and not to exceed, the purchase price of the property. For Purchasers claiming recovery, no refund will be made unless the Purchaser: a) Submits a written notice to CWS within 30 calendar days of the date of removal that explains in what manner the property was inaccurately described. b) If the CWS determines there was a misrepresentation of any particular lot, then a partial or full refund of the money received will be returned, at the sole discretion of CWS. If a misrepresentation is determined before removal of the property, the property will remain with CWS and a full refund will be made. If a misdescription is determined after removal, CWS will refund the amount agreed upon if the Purchaser takes the property at his/her expense to a location specified by CWS. The Purchaser must maintain the property in the same condition as when removed.
